Hauptinstitut für seelische Gesundheit (2019)
Screenplay/Direction/Editing
"I don't want to use the restroom. I'm afraid they'll use their computers to read information about me from my excrement." Sara is 27 and on a journey with no shoes, no money, no cell phone and no ID. She ends up in a psychiatric ward, where she is confronted not only with the diagnosis of "acute psychosis" but also with rules and measures that she cannot endure. In a scenic part, her experience of the clinic, based on the testimony of a real patient, is shown. In improvised scenes and documentary conversations, the psychiatric nurses also have their say.
A hybrid film about the subject of forced fixation in psychiatry.
